Made by Hungarian artist, sculptor and architect, Pierre Szekely, 'L'Intenable' is a piece made using Volcanic rock. Classic to Székely's style, there is an emphasis on texture and form. Though Szekely in his early career was inspired by Surrealism, he soon chose to stop focusing on producing pieces in the movement and focusing instead on the creation of abstract and organic sculptures which encouraged natural, individual responses.
