Biography

Calella, Spain, 1963

Artistic Statement
Jordi Alcaraz’s work explores the boundaries between painting, sculpture, and installation. His art is deeply rooted in the concepts of time, memory, and the void. Alcaraz often manipulates materials like glass, mirrors, and books to create pieces that challenge the viewer’s perception of space and reality. His work is characterized by its subtlety, using minimalism and abstraction to evoke a sense of the ephemeral and the unfinished, where the process and the passage of time become integral components of the work itself.
