Model 565 table lamp designed by Gino Sarfatti and manufactured by Arteluce, Italy, in 1956. Featuring a cast-iron base, chrome-plated stem, and an adjustable black metal shade with a distinctive green Plexiglas diffuser.

The ingenious tension system allows the shade to move along the stem, while the exposed cable becomes both a functional and decorative element. A refined example of Sarfatti’s ability to balance direct illumination with sculptural design.
